Abstract
Un aparato de láser que comprende un láser ópticamente bombeado, de onda continua, provisto de un conmutador de factor Q para generar una serie de impulsos de elevada energía a una frecuencia predeterminada, caracterizado por un dispositivo para controlar la operación del conmutador de Q de manera que éste es capaz de conmutar la conexión y desconexión del láser a intervalos mayores que los intervalos entre impulsos sucesivos y para reducir la eficacia de la cavidad de oscilación de láser durante un período predeterminado después de conectar el láser y a continuación hacer regresar la cavidad del láser a su eficacia normal.
