Abstract
Procedimiento para obtener aglomerantes hidráulicos de gran poder de aglomeración a partir de rocas volcánicas vidriosas, mediante activación mecánica, caracterizado porque un vidrio volcánico que contenga agua fijada en proporción superior al 1% y eventualmente alcalino, se muele, eventualmente junto con cal, cemento y/o sustancias tensioactivas, durante un periodo de 0,5 a 36 horas, con preferencia de 4 a 12 horas, sometiéndolo a un esfuerzo mecánico mayor que el que se produce en la molienda fina corriente, que haga variar fundamentalmente la estructura interna del átomo, después de lo cual el producto obtenido se mezcla eventualmente con cal y/o cemento, y eventualmente se agregan -antes o después de la activación- sustancias colorantes, así como los aditivos usuales en la preparación de aglomerantes hidráulicos.
