Abstract

Perfections introduced in a fluid pipe system comprising a plastic, fluid feeding tube, having at least one female coupling opening, and at least one fluid-emitting device having at least one coupling means male; each of said male coupling means comprising an elongated hollow tube or element around whose outer ends it has one or more edges or burrs; the inside diameter of said opening, prior to the introduction of said male coupling means therein, being sufficiently smaller than that of the outer circumference of said edges or burrs, in order to provide a fluid tight seal when said coupling means male are functionally introduced into said opening; said feeding tube being connected, in fluid circulation flow communication, with said fluid emitting devices by means of said male coupling means and said opening; and the portions of the plastic feed tube containing said female coupling openings made of a composition comprising at least about 90% by weight of ethylene-butene-1 or ethylene-propylene copolymer, density of about 0.915 to 0.928 and a melt index of 0.1 to 1.0 decigrams per minute.
