Abstract

The rotary labelling machine accommodates the bottles etc. to be labelled on an succession of supports which are caused to rotate, the labels being accommodated on a rotary drum and gripped by one or more clamps, placing them on the bottles as the release them. Each support (5) has at least one clamp (12) securing and placing the label. The clamps are mounted inside the track followed by the supports, and rotate with the latter. Each clamp can have a smoothing block (14) and a thruster (15), likewise rotating on the supports, but also so mounted as to slide in the radial direction in relation to the support and independently of each other.
