Abstract

Perfeccionamientos en los sistemas de horno metalúrgico y similares, caracterizados porque el horno comprende: (a) una cámara alargada de horno que tiene medios que definen para la pieza de trabajo una trayectoria central que se extiende a través de la misma que se forman una superficie interior dentro de dicha cámara de horno y que rodean dicha trayectoria; (b) unos primeros medios que rodean dicha trayectoria por un primer extremo de dicha cámara alargada de horno para dirigir en dicha cámara de horno un componente para una mezcla combustible en forma de un chorro substancialmente paralelo a dicha trayectoria y circundante con respecto a la misma; y (c) unos segundos medios que rodean dicha trayectoria en dicho primer extremo de dicha cámara para dirigir radialmente en dicha cámara de horno otro componente para una mezcla combustible como chorro que fluye substancialmente perpendicular a dicha trayectoria, dirigiendo dichos medios primeros y segundos dichos chorros en intersección uno con otro para producir una mezcla uniforme de combustible en un anillo alrededor de dicha trayectoria, con lo que, al producirse su encendido un anillo uniforme de llama rodea dicha trayectoria para calentar piezas de trabajo sobre la misma y para calentar dicha superficie interior.
