Improvements in a process for the preparation of ferrocyanic blue by reaction of ferrocyanide solutions with a ferrous salt and subsequent aging of the precipitate at elevated temperature and optionally under pressure as well as oxidation in acid medium, and simultaneous introduction of the aqueous solutions of the ferrocyanides and of the ferrous salt solution in a water collecting vessel, mixing optimally during the precipitation and then aging in a known manner the resulting precipitate, the so-called white paste, in the reaction medium directly in the presence of the reaction salts high temperature and possibly under pressure and in an equally known manner is transformed by oxidation in acid medium, in berlin blue.
