Un mecanismo diferencial perfeccionado para una transmisión de vehículo; dicho mecanismo comprende, en combinación: a) una cubierta giratoria hueca que consta de dos mitades idénticas, cada una de las cuales tiene un cuerpo que está formado por: 1) una porción central que delimita a un espacio para un par de piñones diferenciales y para un par de engranajes diferenciales, que se genera alrededor de la línea central de los semiejes opuestamente extendidos del vehículo, y que tiene un exterior semicilíndrico; *** Ver imagen
