Un sistema para economizar energía en las centrales de telecomunicación automáticas en dónde el equipo de control y/o el equipo de conmutación utilizados en la mencionada central consumen energía cuando están listos para funcionar pero no realmente en funcionamiento, en dónde el tráfico ofrecido o cursado por la central se controla durante el funcionamiento de la central para determinar el nivel del tráfico en curso.
