Abstract

Un procedimiento para la fabricación de materiales laminares, en particular, películas orientadas de polipropileno, caracterizados por contener en su composición, además de polipropileno, un agente modificador seleccionado entre gomas termoplásticas, copolímeros de etileno-acetato de vinilo y copolímeros de etileno-éster acrílico, cuyo procedimiento consiste en: a) Combinar mecánicamente polipropileno con un agente modificador seleccionado entre gomas termoplásticas, copolímeros de etileno-acetato de vinilo y copolímeros de etileno-éster acrílico, en una proporción de 1 a 30% en peso de agente modificador respecto al polipropilerno y, opcionalmente, con un aditivo estabilizador seleccionado entre antienvejecedores y antioxidantes, a una temperatura comprendida entre 140 y 175ºC; b) preparar los gránulos de la composición obtenida en la etapa anterior; c) extruir, en un extrusor de cabeza plana a una temperatura comprendida entre 180 y 200ºC, para obtener la película; d) orientar la películaobtenida en la etapa anterior con las relaciones de estirado longitudinal y de estirado transversal que se deseen; e) tratar la película orientada, obtenida en la etapa anterior con descargas eléctricas de efecto corona.
