EL TORNILLO SINFIN (8) ENGRANA CON DOS RUEDAS DENTADAS (7) PORTADORAS DE EXCENTRICAS (6).ESTAS, AYUDADAS POR BALANCINES (5), ORIGINAN MOVIMIENTOS ALTERNATIVOS DE PEINES ARRANCADORES (3), QUE SE ABREN EN LA PARTE SUPERIOR DE LA MAQUINA. SE CIERRAN PARA AGARRAR EL FRUTO Y, AL DESCENDER LO ARRANCAN DE LAS RAMAS DEL ARBOL. EL FRUTO ARRANCADO DESCIENDE A TRAVES DEL TUBO (11), QUE LO CONDUCE AL RECIPIENTE DE RECOGIDA. EL CONJUNTO DE MECANISMOS VA ALOJADO EN LA CARCASA (1). LAS TRAMPILLAS (2) EXPULSAN LAS RAMAS, HOJAS O FRUTOS QUE SE DESPRENDEN POR SI SOLOS. LA LENGUA (4) SIRVE DE APOYO AL FRUTO E IMPIDE QUE ESTE PASE AL LADO OPUESTOS Y DIFICULTE EL BUEN FUNCIONAMIENTO DEL OTRO PEINE (3) QUE EN ESE MOMENTO ESTA ASCENDIENDO PARA REPETIR LA OPERACION.
