Abstract

A method of forming a concrete structure having internal through-cavities, a method comprising the steps of casting an initial side layer of the concrete structure into a molding box, placing in position next to the first-mentioned cast side layer a forming means core, cast the remaining parts of the concrete structure and remove at least some parts of the core-forming means when the concrete structure has set or hardened at least in part, said method being characterized by the actions of: arranging, as male-forming means, a relatively thin-walled tube-shaped retainer having perforations or other suitable passages through which air can penetrate, made in the retainer wall; suspending the retainer between two opposite end walls of said molding box on said initial first side layer and introducing a particulate subdivided material as filler charge into the retainer, at one of its ends and by means of an air stream; complete, casting in the molding box; and removing said material subdivided into particles, after use, that is, after having set or at least partially hardened the concrete structure, said removal being carried out at the end mentioned above, or at the opposite end, of the retainer and by middle of an air stream.
