Abstract

Procedure for obtaining dispersing agents, characterized in that in a first stage, a solid, an organic liquid and a dispersing agent are mixed, comprising an adduct of one or more compounds from each of the following classes: (a) a compound organic containing 2 or more isocyanate groups, (b) an organic compound containing 2 or more groups that are reactive with isocyanate groups, and (c) a compound of the formula **(See formula)** where Z represents -OH or -NHR, where R is a monovalent hydrocarbon radical; X is an optionally substituted bivalent hydrocarbon radical; T is a bivalent hydrocarbon radical; n is a positive integer; Q is an optionally substituted monovalent hydrocarbon radical; and E is a group (see formula) in which R'is a hydrogen atom or a monovalent hydrocarbon radical, and D is a group (see formula) under the condition that only one of E and D is connected to T through the carbonyl group carbon atom that is present in D and E, and the compound contains at least one chain having at least 5 carbon atoms; and in a second stage, the resulting mixture is subjected to an organic treatment to reduce the particle size to less than 20 microns.
