Abstract

Perfeccionamientos en los dispositivos ralentizadores por corriente de Foucault, que comprenden un estator inductor constituido por un soporte adecuado para llevar al menos un electroimán de eje paralelo al eje del estator, presentando dicho estator un cubo en el cual está montado libremente en rotación el árbol del ralentizador, y un rotor inducido que comprende especialmente dos discos que encuadran el electroimán del estator, calado en rotación sobre el árbol del ralentizador, y adecuado para pasar delante al menos de uno de los polos del electroimán de forma que se induzcan corrientes de foucault en dicho rotor y que se obtenga un efecto de frenado, caracterizados porque el estator presenta al menos una envoltura realizada en material magnético, de eje paralelo al eje del estator, adecuada para servir de alojamiento al electroimán, el cual está así protegido especialmente contra los choques y los agentes atmosféricos.
