Abstract
Radio beacon improvements including: a network of effectively linear radiator elements; means for commuting radio frequency energy successively to said elements to simulate the movement of a single radiator element and refractor means, located in the radiation field of said elements to cause phase interceptions between the waves radiated by the two end elements of the antenna array, as received in a far field radio receiver adapted to measure said phase interception, is independent of the position of said receiver in any one of a system of planes that intersect on a common line located in a plane normal to the axis of the network.
