Abstract

A self contained gas compressor device, comprising a centrifugal impeller including an impeller shaft, an electric motor including an armature shaft functionally connected to the impeller, and means for rotatingly supporting said impeller and armature shafts, characterized in that said means for rotationally supporting the impeller and armature shafts consist of a single bearing support member having two bearing assembly support means extending from opposite sides thereof, said armature shaft being supported to rotate in one of said bearing assembly support means, and the impeller shaft being supported to rotate in the other means.
