Abstract

Apparatus for supplying particulate material, comprising: a material transport means having a peripheral surface of elastic structure to retain therein a substantially uniform amount of particulate material; a supply base having an opening through which said material transport means is adapted to pass, defined in part by at least one protruding section in contact with said transport means, said protruding section or sections in position to mechanically deform said elastic surface in order to discharge the particulate material contained therein, and a flaccid receptacle mounted on said supply base to contain a quantity of particulate material in contact with said material transport means.
