A texturing device comprising a thread guide nozzle with an anterior portion and a posterior portion and a hole extending therethrough from one end to the other, a box with a fluid chamber surrounding the anterior portion of the nozzle, a fluid supply means with a conduit that communicates with the chamber and a common venturi tube-shaped outlet for the wire and fluid, the anterior portion of the nozzle terminating within the converging inlet of the venturi tube; whose device is characterized by a current forging member containing a channel whose cross section is small relative to the cross section of the fluid chamber and is located between the fluid supply means and the converging inlet of the venturi tube to direct the fluid in the form of current through the fluid chamber to the common outlet to provide a considerably increased texturing action.
