Abstract

The treatment of sewage is controlled in relation to the instantaneous variation in the metabolic rate of its micro-organisms. A number of ways of controlling the densities of the microorganisms are described. A method of measuring the instantaneous variation is described in Specification 1,263,754 (see Division B1).
