Abstract
Improvements introduced in the object of the main patent no. 355,533, filed on june 27, 1968, by: procedure for treatment of metallic surfaces to form on them a lubricating coating used for a metal conformation operation, characterized in that they comprise applying a substance based on phosphate on the metallic surface, effecting a regulated reaction between the phosphate-based substance and the metal surface in order to obtain a phosphate-based coating that does not react, at least partially, with the surface metal, this substance being applied so that an almost dry coating is obtained substantially from the contact with the surface, applying a composition based on fatty acid soap on the surface thus coated and effecting a regulated reaction between the composition based on soap and the phosphate-based coating in order to obtain a coating soap that does not react, at least partially, with the phosphate-based coating and the metal surface, the soap-based composition being applied so that an almost dry coating is formed, sensibly from contact with the surface.
