Abstract
In a dial-type impulse transmitter, the sets of contact springs have enlargements (not shown) at their non-contact making ends and are mounted in a housing 4, moulded from insulating material and having internal partitions which divide it into a number of throughgoing compartments, by inserting the contact spring, contact end first, into different compartments to positions limited by the enlargements. The housing is mounted on the transmitter base plate by a screw 2 and the contact springs 5 and 6 are retained by a plate 7 which projects from the base plate. During dialling contacts 10 carried by the contact springs 5 are operated by an impulse wheel 11 for each impulse, and contacts 9 carried by the contact springs 6 are interrupted by a pawl 12 during impulsing.
