Abstract
Herbicidal compositions contain a compound of the formula where X is halogen, CF 3 , OH, OCH 3 , SO 2 CH 3 or CH 3 , n is 0-3, Y is a saturated or unsaturated linear or branched aliphatic radical of 1-6 carbon atoms optionally substituted by Cl, Br or CN or is a cyclopropyl radical, R is alkyl of 1-5 carbon atoms, -COR1 or where R1 is a saturated or unsaturated aliphatic radical of 1-4 carbon atoms optionally substituted by Cl, Br or a phenoxy radical which may be substituted by Cl or CH 3 or is a cyclopropyl radical, R2 is an alkyl radical of 1-4 carbon atoms and R3 is H or an alkyl radical of 1-4 carbon atoms as an active ingredient together with an emulsifying or dispersing agent or a solid or liquid carrier. Other herbicides e.g. triazines, dichloroalkyl carboxylic acid derivatives, ureas, uracils and pyridazones may be included in the compositions.
