Filtro perfeccionado para aire y otros gases, que consiste esencialmente en un manguito o cuerpo cilíndrico hueco abierto por ambas bases, formado por una o varias capas de fieltro provistas de uno o más armazones de tela metálica, alambre o lámina metálica perforada flexible, cuyo cuerpo presenta un ondulado en toda su extensión, tanto en la parte de armazón como de fieltro, en el sentido de la generatriz, acusándose los correspondientes bucles u ondulaciones tanto exterior como interiormente y obteniéndose con ello la máxima superficie de filtraje con el mínimo volumen posible.
