A dispenser comprising a container body (1) provided with an opening at the top and a dispensing assembly (2) including a cradle (4) and an elongated rotable member (5) supported over the opening in the top of the body by the cradle and movable relatively to the cradle from an article picking up position to an article dispensing position, a pocket (8) shaped to receive an article (7) to be dispensed being provided in the dispensing member.
