Description
DESCRIPCIÓNDESCRIPTION
Método y sistema para el ajuste de altura de soporte camilla autocargable en vehículos de rescate y vehículo de rescate equipado con dicho sistemaMethod and system for adjusting the height of the self-loading stretcher support in rescue vehicles and rescue vehicles equipped with said system
The present invention relates to the field of equipment for rescue vehicles, such as ambulances, for transporting injured, sick or disabled people on stretchers, to receive said patients in a sanitary compartment and transfer them to a hospital.
In particular, the invention is designed to optimize the loading and unloading steps of the so-called self-loading stretchers, when this term means beds provided with retractable legs and swivel wheels, used only to load the patient into the vehicle, for example from the patient's home. patient to the rescue vehicle.
Ambulances usually carry the injured person on a self-loading stretcher placed inside the sanitary compartment.
The self-loading stretcher is kept in position by inserting a support that rests on the floor of the vehicle compartment. In addition, the purpose of the support is also to allow the patient to be placed in a prone and inclined position and to move him laterally and vertically towards the sanitary compartment, always keeping him lying down on the stretcher.
A drawback of the systems that currently use self-loading stretchers occurs if the support surfaces of the vehicle and the stretcher are not the same, or if the height of the support changes with respect to the ideal condition due to changes related to the wear of the vehicle.
In fact, the design conditions take into account and adjust the position of the support inside the vehicle floor depending on the height of the stretcher required for its automatic opening and closing.
If special and non-ideal situations are encountered, such as when the vehicle is on the road while the stretcher is on a curb, the standard transfer condition changes and this can result in:
- una apertura o cierre anormal, o- an abnormal opening or closing, or
- la necesidad de una mayor intervención por parte del personal de rescate, o incluso- the need for further intervention by rescue personnel, or even
- el agarrotamiento de las paras de la camilla y la imposibilidad de carga y/o descarga.- the sticking of the legs of the stretcher and the impossibility of loading and/or unloading.
Other types of vehicles for transporting patients are, for example, those described in DE 10 2010 027208. However, these vehicles are not suitable for fast loading and unloading of self-loading stretchers.
The object of the present invention is to avoid the above technical drawbacks by providing a loading system that takes into account and also controls the actual height of the support from the ground as a function of the support surface of the self-loading stretcher when it is out of the vehicle, ready to be inserted into the support or to be picked up from the support.
A first advantage is to be able to ensure an adequate loading and unloading height of the self-loading stretcher even when conditions are outside the design parameters. In this regard, it should be noted that the conditions may vary both due to variations that may affect the vehicle over time, such as tires, shock absorbers, etc., as well as "immediate" variations due to interventions carried out with the stretcher or with the vehicle in non-standard condition.
Therefore, the invention provides a method for adjusting the height of the support inserted in the sanitary compartment, according to claim 1, an adjustment that provides the vertical variation of the support of the stretcher with respect to the floor of the sanitary compartment; said adjustment is established and is a function of the position of the self-loading stretcher when it is placed outside the vehicle, a position corresponding to the loading and unloading surface; this value is measured with respect to a reference on the vehicle or on the support; Once this value is obtained, it is compared with that required to open and close the self-loading stretcher with respect to the support in the vehicle.
Once the discrepancy between said values has been verified, a system for adjusting the height of the support (with respect to the interior floor) can be controlled by means of manual or automatic actuation means, specifically electrical.
Another object of the invention is to provide at least one means capable of detecting said position of the loading/unloading surface of the stretcher and communicating the value or values detected to a control unit, which generates an alarm signal to the operator who can thus control the lowering or raising of the support adjustment system and restore the appropriate conditions for loading/unloading the self-loading stretcher.
Said determination of the value of the height of the surface is carried out by means of one or more optical or infrared sensors, which may be located on the vehicle and arranged so as to point at said loading/unloading zone.
The detected signal is treated and processed, together with any other reference value of the fixed type, to determine the required value.
In addition, the invention can provide that, in the event of electrical control, once the existence of a height condition of the stretcher support that is not in accordance with the ideal has been established, in addition to an alarm, the system can also generate a restoration by means of the control automatic lifting and lowering to the new correct condition.
Therefore, the support-floor elevation system also includes one or more electrical control units that communicate with sensors and motors to maintain the correct mutual height between the support and the self-loading stretcher. In this way, the loading and unloading height of the stretcher is adequate for its opening and closing.
Another object of the invention is the motor vehicle for first aid and transport of the wounded or sick, comprising a support for self-loading stretchers in the rear stretcher loading compartment and means for adjusting its height with respect to the internal floor of the same. compartment, depending on the height of the stretcher surface once it is located outside the stretcher in loading or unloading conditions.
In addition to the mobile support, the vehicle includes height detection sensors that measure the height to compare it with the reference parameters and determine if the loading and unloading steps of the self-loading stretcher comply with the required procedures.
Therefore, the invention allows establishing different heights of the support with respect to the floor and always allowing the optimal introduction or extraction of the self-loading stretcher.
All the aforementioned objects and advantages are achieved by means of the stretcher support to be installed in ambulance sanitary compartments, object of the present invention, which is characterized by the appended claims. These and other features will become more apparent from the following description of some of the configurations, illustrated by way of example only in the accompanying drawings.
Figures 1 and 2: show the rear of a motor vehicle used for first aid and for the transport of injured or sick people; the stretcher loading compartment is provided with a stretcher support according to the invention; Means are provided to adjust the support-floor distance to recover a possible imbalance of the ideal value of the loading and unloading height of the self-loading stretcher on or from the relative support.
Figura 3: muestra el soporte solo con el sistema de elevación y descenso relativo,Figure 3: Shows the support only with the relative raising and lowering system,
Shows a front view of the above system in raised and lowered configuration,
Figure 5 – Shows an example of the mechanical or electrical support lift system alone.
With special reference to the figures, reference number 1 indicates as a whole a stretcher support to be installed in sanitary compartments of rescue vehicles such as ambulances.
The figure only shows a partial view of a vehicle 5, an ambulance, and precisely its sanitary compartment 4, its rear floor 2, where the emergency service personnel operate and where the patient is accommodated on the stretcher 12.
As mentioned, the injured person is transported on a stretcher; in the case of a self-loading stretcher, an intermediate element is always used, which is precisely defined by the term stretcher-support 1. Normally resting on the floor 2 of the vehicle compartment 5, the support keeps the stretcher 12 in its position and allows a possible positioning of the patient in prone and inclined decubitus, or moving him laterally within the sanitary compartment, always keeping him lying down on the stretcher.
The stretcher support has a substantially parallelepiped geometry. Its surface 6 is adapted to preferably support a self-loading stretcher 12, while the lower surface 7, in its operating configuration, is oriented towards the floor of the vehicle 2.
El sistema está indicado con el número de referencia 10.As can be seen in the figures, the invention materializes in the introduction of a stretcher support handling system. The system is indicated with the reference number 10.
The support 1 and the system 10 cooperate with each other to allow the adjustment of the distance between the support 1 and the internal floor of the vehicle.
The adjustment means of the adjustment system 10 can be controlled electrically and/or manually. In the case of electric drive, a motor M foresees the adjustment of the system 10 in extension or retraction, to adjust the height of the support with respect to the internal floor of the compartment, depending on the height of the vehicle and/or of the support with respect to the support surface of the self-loading stretcher 12, when it is in the loading/unloading position outside the vehicle 5.
The reference value is determined relative to a reference on the vehicle or on the support; Said value is compared with the one required to open and close the self-loading stretcher with respect to the support in the vehicle.
Therefore, the invention is completed using at least one optical or infrared sensor 8 to determine a parameter defined as the vertical distance between the support and an external reference on the ground, corresponding to the loading/unloading zone of the self-loading stretcher.
The sensor or sensors are fixed and located on the vehicle so that they point directly to the defined loading/unloading area 9. The detected signal is treated and processed by a control unit 12, together with any other reference value of the fixed type, to determine the required height value.
Figure 2 shows that the sensor can detect the shorter distance of area 9 compared to Figure 1; in fact, there is a step that raises the stretcher 12 with respect to the ideal condition. In this way, the system 10 rises to restore the ideal distance condition and allow the stretcher to be inserted into the compartment, and especially the extraction step, avoiding dangerous jamming of the legs.
In the case of the electrical movement of the support height adjustment system, the invention provides for the connection and power supply also for a luminous area arranged around the perimeter of the support 1.
The advantage is better light diffusion in the sanitary compartment for the patient, who thus does not receive direct light when lying on the stretcher.
In addition to the provision of a power source to adjust the support, the invention provides the connection and power supply to a light point or area arranged under the normally provided rear slider of the stretcher support.
The advantage is to facilitate the loading of the self-loading stretcher.
Por tanto, en su conjunto, el vehículo de motor para primeros auxilios y transporte de heridos o enfermos comprende: Therefore, as a whole, the motor vehicle for first aid and transport of the injured or sick includes:
- un piso y al menos un soporte de camilla relativo en el compartimento de carga de la camilla,- a floor and at least one relative stretcher support in the loading compartment of the stretcher,
- dispuesta entre dicho soporte y piso de vehículo,- disposed between said support and vehicle floor,
- medios para ajustar la distancia soporte-piso del vehículo para recuperar un posible desequilibrio del valor ideal de la altura de carga y descarga de la camilla autocargable sobre o desde el respectivo soporte.- means for adjusting the support-floor distance of the vehicle to recover a possible imbalance of the ideal value of the loading and unloading height of the self-loading stretcher on or from the respective support.
The previous adjustment is produced by monitoring the height of the vehicle and the support with respect to the support surface of the self-loading stretcher in the loading/unloading position, considering the parameters required to open and close the self-loading stretcher with respect to the support.
Regarding the stretcher support, it is noted that one of the different possible models currently used is described and taken as an example, and the invention generically includes all supports, such as those provided with freedom of lateral displacement, those provided with compartments internal to store objects.
In summary, the method for height adjustment of stretcher supports placed in the sanitary compartments of rescue vehicles and for the support of self-loading stretchers provides for manual or automatic height adjustment of the support inserted in the sanitary compartment. with respect to the interior floor of the compartment itself; the adjustment occurs depending on the height of the vehicle or support with respect to the support surface of the self-loading stretcher area in the loading/unloading position; said value being established with respect to a reference on the vehicle or on the support; Said value is compared with the one required to open and close the self-loading stretcher with respect to the support in the vehicle.
The adjustment of the vertical height between the stretcher support and the floor of the sanitary compartment is produced by determining a parameter defined as the vertical distance between the support and an external reference on the floor, corresponding to the loading/unloading area of the self-loading stretcher.
El ajuste se puede realizar:Adjustment can be made:
a. manualmente a través de medios de accionamiento manual, oto. manually through manual actuation means, or
The determination of the height is carried out through optical or infrared sensors, which can be located at a point on the vehicle and be arranged so that they point to the loading/unloading area; the detected signal is treated and processed, together with any other reference value of the fixed type, to determine the required height value.
The optimal parameter that defines the correct height of the support with respect to the self-loading stretcher (open to the side of the vehicle) is established taking into account, among others:
