Abstract

Espejo retrovisor externo, para vehiculos automóviles, que comprende un órgano de soporte destinado a ser fijado a la carrocería de un vehículo y un cuerpo que lleva un elemento reflectante y está unido mediante una primera articulación o rótula al órgano de soporte por un brazo orientable respecto a dicho órgano de soporte mediante una segunda articulación o rótula, caracterizado en que: la segunda articulación o rótula (26) comprende un relieve virtualmente semiesférico (22) practicado en el órgano de soporte (16) y atravesado por el brazo oscilante (18), y un elemento anular (30), de forma virtualmente semiesférica complementaria, sostenido por el brazo (18) y apretado en contacto deslizante sobre dicho relieve semiesférico (22) por la acción de primeros medios elásticos de impulso (32); y la primera articulación o rótula (28) comprende una cabeza virtualmente semiesférica (38), sostenida por el brazo orientable (18) y a través de la cual engarza de modo giratorio un perno de articulación (42) sostenido por un elemento de forma semiesférica complementaria (44), solidario del cuerpo (12) del espejo (10) y apretado sobre dicha cabeza semiesférica (38) por la acción de segundos medios elásticos de impulso (48).
