Abstract

The actuating rod with adjustable length is provided in particular for actuating flaps in air-conditioning systems of motor vehicles. It comprises a first and a second part (11, 12), the first part being arranged telescopically in the second part and the opposite ends (13, 14) of the two parts (11, 12) forming the ends of the rod (10). The first part (11) has two essentially parallel walls (15) which face two corresponding walls (16) of the second part (12) at a distance. Furthermore, locking means are provided which adjust the two walls (15) of the first part (11) with respect to the corresponding walls (16) of the second part (12), so that the two parts (11, 12) of the rod (10) are locked in a correspondingly determined position.
