Improved container with two side walls

The present invention relates to a container according to the preamble of claim 1.

Such containers are known, for example, in the state of the art, eg WO 2011/023401 A1 or WO 2011/023400 A1, EP 237 1723 A1, EP 2540635 A1 or EP 2540643 A1. However, the containers described in these publications have the deficiency that there is a gap between the outer side wall and the inner side wall and/or additional means are needed to stack the containers properly and/or the stacking means can be improved. .

Therefore, the object of the present invention is to provide a container that does not have the deficiencies of the current art.

The problem is solved by a container according to claim 1.

The container of the invention has the advantage that it has greater stability and the unstacking of two containers is improved.

The present invention relates to a container. The container is a glass, in which drinks, especially hot drinks such as coffee or tea, or food, especially soup, puree or the like, can be served. The container is preferably made of paper, thick paper, cardboard, fiber material, plastic material, pLa materials and/or renewable and/or biodegradable raw materials or a combination thereof. More preferably, the material, in particular the material from which the sidewalls are made, is plastically deformable, for example it can be embossed. All parts of the containers of the invention are made of this material, while the individual parts of the container can be made of different materials. Especially the surface of the container parts that are subjected to liquid and/or vapor are preferably provided with means, especially a coating, an impregnation, a primer or the like, which make these parts at least temporarily resistant, for example, to moisture, water, aqueous solutions, oil and/or grease or a combination thereof. Preferably, the mentioned means are also heat sealable.

The container according to the present invention comprises an inner side wall, which is preferably conical in shape and more preferably has a folded or rolled edge at its upper end. The side wall is preferably made from a flat segment, which is subsequently formed, preferably wound, more preferably around a mandrel, in its conical shape, for example. Preferably, at its lower end, the side wall comprises a bottom for closing the container at the base. The bottom is preferably a separate piece which is attached, more preferably glued and/or heat sealed, to the lower end of the side wall of the container. The side wall and the base define the fill volume that can be filled with a product. According to the present invention, the inner side wall may comprise raised profiling, preferably a stacking means to ensure that the packages are easily separated from each other when stacked, ie unstacked. Preferably, this stacking means extends around the entire inner circumference of the inner side wall and/or extends into the container.

According to the present invention, the container comprises an outer side wall, which is attached to the outer circumference of the inner side wall. This outer sidewall preferably extends around the entire circumference of the inner sidewall and more preferably extends essentially the entire height of the inner sidewall, namely from the top edge to the bottom. The second (outer) side wall may comprise one or more raised profiles. The profiling can be of any shape. The first (inner) and second (outer) sidewalls are connected to each other by means of an adhesive connection, which, according to the present invention, is provided at the lower end of a raised profile on the second sidewall. The relief profiling of the first side wall is preferably a stacking projection preferably extending radially inwardly into the fill volume. The lower end of the profile on the second side wall cooperates with the stacking projection on the first side wall. Preferably, the adhesive connection is provided in the vicinity of the lower end of the profile on the second side wall. The adhesive connection is preferably obtained by a glue between the first and second side walls.

The adhesive connection has the advantage that it provides additional rigidity to the first and/or second side wall near the relief(s).

According to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the adhesive connection is aligned with the raised profile, where the extension of the adhesive connection parallel to the first side wall can be the same or different, preferably less than the extension of the stacking means in this address.
