Abstract

Criadero para moluscos, caracterizado porque comprende una cubeta o recipiente flotante de fondo preferentemente plano, abierta por su base superior, cuyas paredes son de pequeña altura respecto a su superficie y presentan, cerca de su borde superior libre, una serie de orificios para entrada y salida de agua, los cuales van parcialmente cerrados mediante una rejilla o malla que impide la salida de los alevines alojados en la cubeta; disponiendo interiormente dicha cubeta, a partir del fondo, de una serie de tabiques de reducida altura, estando la referida cubeta parcialmente rellena por una capa de arena de altura superior a la de los tabiques pero inferior a la altura a la que se encuentran los orificios citados; siendo las paredes y fondo de la cubeta de un material con capacidad de flotación suficiente tener el conjunto en flotación, con los orificios situados inmediatamente por debajo de la linea de flotación.
