Funda insonorizante de protección para hojas circulares de corte para mármoles, granitos y piedras duras, caracterizada por el hecho de que ésta se realiza en material de tipo adecuado, presenta grandes espesores exteriores (1 y 2) y deja espacios reducidos (4 y 5) para el paso de las hojas rodantes, con el fin de aislar al máximo el ambiente exterior de los ruidos provocados por las hojas y reducir además la amplitud de las vibraciones a las que las hojas mismas están sometidas durante el trabajo de corte.
