Abstract
A horizontal scanning system of transistors, comprising: an inductive element in which deflection current is to be produced, a DC voltage source connected to said element for supplying current, an interruption transistor in series with said element, means to perform forward and reverse polarization of said transistor to open it during the tracing time and close it during the reverse tracing time, a capacitor in derivation with said transistor and through which a voltage during the inverse tracing time is produced substantially greater than voltage of said source, and means for effecting the supplementary reverse polarization of said transistor to cause a rapid closing thereof in order to avoid its decomposition by said higher voltage.
