Abstract

Ferula de libre movilidad para permitir el movimiento horno funcional de la rodilla caracterizada esencialmente porque está constituida mediante una estructura compuesta por pares de pletinas verticales articuladas entre si, dos a dos, mediante ejes transversales de giro, cuyas pletinas femorales externas y mediales están conformadas de acuerdo con el perfil anatómico del muslo y pierna para su perfecta adaptación y contacto total, relacionándose además cada par de pletinas enfrentadas, mediante una brida puente arqueada solidaria, y en situación de oblicuidad cada una respecto de su correspondiente de pletinas; estando provisto cada par de pletinas una placa extrema dispuesta para recibir un vendaje elástico de fijación al muslo y pierna respectivamente; contando dichos vendajes con medios de sujeción formados por juegos de tiras elásticas, una anterior que se cruza aproximadamente por debajo de la rodilla, y la otra posterior, asi mismo cruzada que se ajusta sobre el muslo, combinándose dichas tiras cruzadas con bandas delanteras paralelas y retángulares que imprimen a la rodilla una acción variante o y según la corrección deseada; anclándose dichas bandas por sus extremos sobre los ejes de articulación de los juegos de pletinas verticales.
