Un cristal para ventanilla de automóvil, del tipo desplazable verticalmente, en el cual los bordes anterior y posterior del cristal de ventanilla (5) se ajustan y deslizan dentro de una guía (8) del tipo ya conocido en la estructura de soporte, caracterizado en que los bordes anterior y posterior (10) del cristal de la ventanilla (5) están desplazados hacia el interior de la abertura de la ventanilla una distancia tal que la superficie externa del cristal (5)se encuentra básicamente al nivel de la superficie exterior (7) de la carrocería del vehículo adyacente a dicha abertura de la ventanilla.
