Abstract

The invention relates to a brewed beverage pot, in particular a coffee pot of an electric coffee-maker, having a jug of glass or ceramic and a handle adhesively attached thereto, a separate fastening element being connected to the jug by means of an adhesive layer and the actual handle being fastened to the fastening element. In this case the object is to be achieved of further improving a reliable firm connection between the jug and the actual handle in an efficient production process. This object is achieved according to the invention by the fastening element having metal which preferably has a surface layer bonding well with adhesive, in particular silicone adhesive. The fastening element preferably consists of a lightweight metal with an artificially oxidised surface which has a chemical relationship to glass-like and porcelain-like materials and can be adhesively bonded well to the latter.
