Abstract
Un procedimiento de control para operar un sistema de desinfección de fluidos por medio de radiación UV, en el que la radiación UV se genera por al menos una lámpara UV que comprende un par de cátodos de calentamiento que tienen una tensión (UD) de descarga mínima para mantener la descarga de gas, operándose dicha al menos una lámpara UV por una unidad de balasto electrónico, que está equipada con un algoritmo de control, que permite ajustar la potencia UV de la al menos una lámpara UV mediante una modulación de ancho de pulso (PWM), para reducir la potencia UV, dicho procedimiento de control incluye las siguientes etapas: - disminuir la corriente de dicha al menos una lámpara UV a un nivel (Ikmín); - aumentar la amplitud (U) de tensión de dicha al menos una lámpara UV por encima de la tensión (UD) de descarga hasta que se alcance el nivel de potencia UV deseado; - al aumentar la amplitud (U) de tensión, se reduce el ancho de pulso (PW) de dicha modulación de ancho de pulso, hasta que se alcanza un ancho de pulso (PWmín) para operar la al menos una lámpara UV en un modo ineficaz; - en el que disminuir la corriente y aumentar la amplitud (U) de tensión genera una relación corriente-tensión ineficaz en dicho modo ineficaz, en el que el exceso de corriente calienta el par de cátodos de calentamiento.
