Abstract

Makeup product

Field of the invention

The present invention relates to a makeup product.

In particular, it is related to a multicolored makeup product for the face, eyes, lips, cheeks, etc., such as a foundation, pre-base, eye shadow, lipstick, lip gloss, blush, mascara, eyeliner, etc.

Previous technique

As is known, some cosmetics for makeup are marketed in the form of fluid, liquid or semi-fluid products. The use in that form is quite inconvenient since it is difficult to take the product and apply it without waste.

For some time, in order to improve usability and ease of use, these products have been marketed in containers housing a sponge soaked with the relative makeup product.

The use of the sponge makes the operation of taking the fluid product much easier and can minimize the waste associated with the makeup operation.

US 2010/065576 discloses a device for retaining and dispensing porous absorbent pads and US 5024325 discloses a dispensing package for dispensing discrete portions of vaporizable material in the form of pre-moistened absorbent pads.

Summary of the invention

The object of the present invention is to provide an improved makeup product compared to the prior art, by providing at least two different fluid makeup products within the same container.

This and other objects are achieved by a makeup product according to the technical teachings of the appended claims.

Detailed description of the invention

With reference to the previous figures, a makeup product is shown, denoted globally by the reference number 1.

The makeup product 1 according to the present invention comprises a container provided with a base 2, usually made of plastic material or other suitable materials for the purpose, to which a cover 5 is associated. Advantageously, the cover 5 can be articulated in the base so that, when opening the latter, you can access the products present in base 2 or in it.

Of course, the cover 5 can be associated with the base in a different way and, for example, it can slide with respect to the latter or be articulated so that it rotates along an axis perpendicular thereto.

Depending on the type of makeup fluids housed in the base 2, the cover may or may not be provided with seals that affix the interior of the container of the exterior environment and preserve the cosmetic product.

The base should be restricted to at least a first 3 and a second 4 makeup element through the appropriate restriction means 8 (Figure 4). As seen in Figure 1, a third makeup item 5 is also provided, totally similar to the first two. In the configuration shown, the restriction means 8 may comprise a simple adhesive for cosmetic use, but may also be of different types according to the needs.

The first makeup element 3 comprises a first sponge 3A soaked with a first makeup fluid 3B. In addition, the second makeup element 4 comprises a second sponge 4A soaked with a second makeup fluid 4b, which however is different from the first. The same applies to the third makeup element 5, which provides a third sponge 5A also soaked in a third makeup fluid 5B, which may be different from the first two.

- The formula with which the makeup fluid 3B, 4B is manufactured, has a low dynamic viscosity, such as between 1,000 and 10,000 cPs. It is designed not to create differences in the amount of product contained in the sponge and in particular to: avoid color variations within and along the surface of the sponge,

- facilitate absorption in the sponge,

- to be retained in an optimal way by the sponge that, if handled or moved, should not release the product outwards.

The formula of makeup fluid can meet the performance standards of the specific cosmetic product for makeup and, for example, should minimize the migration if it is a lipstick, should minimize the irregularity if it is a base, should minimize the formation of Lines and migrations if it is an eye shadow, etc.

The formula of the makeup fluid 3B, 4B may or may not require a hermetic container and, therefore, may or may not comprise some substances known in the cosmetic field as "volatile".

The possible examples of formulation of the makeup fluid 3B, 4B are those shown below:

Mixture example 1 (anhydrous) which may comprise:

a) 75-90% of anhydrous phase (comprising 0-10% of film-forming polymers, 30-50% of rheological additives, preferably 30-40%, 30-50% of emollient oils, 0 to 30% of solvents volatile, 0-10% pure pigments).

b) 5-10% texturing agents

Example of mixture 2 (aqueous) which may comprise:

a) 50-90% aqueous phase (50-90% water, 1-5% wetting agents, 0.1-2% rheological additives)

b) 0-30% pure pigments and / or pearls, preferably 1-20%

c) 1-20% emollient oils.

d) 0.01-10% solubilizing agents.

As you can see, at least the first 3 and the second 4 makeup element are mutually collateral in base 2; in particular, the second makeup element is disposed between the first 3 and the third makeup element.

From the analysis of Fig. 2, but still better from the analysis of Fig. 4, it is seen that at least the first sponge 3A and the second sponge 4A have at least one side 7 of mutual contact, in a resting configuration or at least when one of them is subjected to a pressure in an area adjacent to the contact side 7.

At least one sponge on at least said contact side 7 has a cover 6 intended to obstruct the migration of the fluid along said contact side 7.

The coating 6 is particularly important in cosmetics, since the migration of a makeup fluid present in a sponge to the adjacent sponge, impregnated with a different makeup fluid even in a single feature (such as color), must be avoided or minimized.

A particularly advantageous configuration is clearly visible in Figure 4, where each of the sponges 3A, 4A has its own coating 6 on said contact side 7.

As an example, the coating 6 may consist of a layer of polymeric and non-polymeric insulating resins, or of insulating film polymers applied, for example, by brush, sprinkler, by partial immersion, by contact or other suitable method, in one or more sides (even on all sides) of the sponge or sponges.

The coating may also be made of a transparent or non-transparent polymeric elastomer film, or of an insulating plastic material, for example, glued or otherwise restricted to the sponge. One technique that can be used can be that known as molding, in which the film is applied to the desired mold before forming the sponge; the film adheres to the sponge during the expansion stage of the synthetic resin with which the sponge itself is produced.

The coating may also consist simply of an area or part of the sponge with physical characteristics different from other areas of the sponge (such as less or no porosity, or a different density).

The coating 6 can also be formed by a surface treatment of the vulcanization type made directly on the sponge or sponges, or external coating with insulating nanoparticles.

As already mentioned above, the makeup elements can be fixed stably to the base 2 or extrafoil restriction means 8 can be provided, thus allowing to remove and replace at least one of the makeup elements 3,4 in position to re-impregnate the sponge with the relative makeup fluid.

The extractable means 8 may be, for example, of plastic material, adjustable under pressure, directly associated with a portion of the sponge, or may simply provide interference joints with portions of the base suitably shaped, or associated therewith.

Advantageously, the sponge or sponges are / are synthetic and can be manufactured for example from: urethane or polyurethane resin; foamed polyurethane resins of open and partially closed cells; foamed polyethylene resins of closed cells; as a "fluff", also known as foamed synthetic gums or elastomeric foams.

Particularly suitable for the present application are open cell polyurethane foam sponges with a density ranging from 60 to 90 kg / m2, preferably 75 kg / m2 ± 5%, and with a compressive strength of 40%, which ranges from 13.5 to 17 kPa, preferably equal to 14 ± 5% (ISO standard 3386).

According to a possible variant, at least one of the makeup elements comprises a bottom 9 within which the relative sponge is partially housed. In this case, the restriction means 8, which may be of the types described above, may be provided between the bottom 9 and the base 2 in sf

As seen in Figure 5, the height of the bottom edge or bottoms 9 is lower than the height of the sponge housed therein.

The embodiment described above is provided with only three makeup elements, but, of course, a desired number of these can be provided, also depending on the type of makeup product to be implemented. All makeup elements will be substantially similar to those described above.

To use the makeup product 1, the user can first remove the cover 5. In this condition, a distribution surface (the upper surface in Figure 2) of the makeup elements 3,4 fixed to the accessible base 2 is made. directly for the user. It should be noted that, during normal use of the make-up product, that is, when used during a make-up procedure, the make-up elements are stably fixed to the base. The makeup elements, as described above in some embodiments, can be removed from the base only for maintenance reasons or to fill with another makeup fluid.

In particular, during use, the user can access the distribution surfaces of the makeup elements (which face the cover when the cover is in position) while remaining fixed to the base.

In this condition, the user can place a finger (or an applicator) on the dispensing surface of the makeup element of the desired color (or with the desired makeup fluid).

At the same time, the base can be held with one hand to stabilize it, or it can rest on a surface that supports and stabilizes it. For this reason, the base is rigid. This means that the base is built with a ngido material. In this context, a fixed material can be made of metal or plastic, of the type generally used for wrapping make-up products. In particular, that kind of niche materials must maintain their shape when an operator using the makeup product holds them firmly.

The pressure of the finger (or the applicator) squeezes the sponge, thus dispensing a necessary amount of makeup fluid that can then be used to perform the makeup procedure.

It is noted that all percentages given in the present description should be understood by weight. The other measures are instead made at 25 degrees centigrade.

Various embodiments of the invention have been described, but others can be conceived using the same innovative concept.

Claims (8)

1. Make-up product (1), comprising a base (2) with which a cover (5) and at least one primer (3) and a second makeup element (4) restricted to the base are associated (2) ) by means (8) of restriction, the first makeup element (3) comprising a first sponge (3A) soaked with a first makeup fluid (3B), the second makeup element (4) comprising a second sponge ( 4A) soaked with a second makeup fluid (4B), different from the first makeup fluid (3B), the first (3) and the second makeup element (4) are arranged mutually side by side in said base (2), the first and second makeup element (3,4), during use, is fixed to the base with a dispensing surface facing the cover (5) so that, when removing the cover (5), a user can extract a part of the makeup fluid by pressing a dispensing surface of the makeup elements (3.4) while the elements (3,4) of makeup are in the base (2) ngida, the first sponge (3A) and the second sponge (4A) having at least one common contact side (7) at least when one of them is subject to a pressure in an area adjacent to the contact side, wherein at least one sponge (3A, 4A), on at least said contact side (7), has a coating (6) intended to obstruct the migration of the fluid along said contact side (7). 2. Make-up product according to one or more of the preceding claims, wherein said sponge is of the synthetic type and has a density ranging from 60 to 90 kg / m2, preferably 75 kg / m2 ± 5%, and / or with a compressive strength of 40%, ranging from 13.5 to 17 kPa, preferably equal to 14 ± 5%. 8.
