Abstract

Acoplamiento para conducciones, con válvula de tipo con esfera giratoria, en el cual un elemento de obturación de forma generalmente esférica está montado en un elemento del acoplamiento con su centro coincidente con el eje del conducto de paso del fluido a controlar, presentando este elemento esférico, que se apoya sobre un asiento en la desembocadura del conducto en la cámara de válvula, un mandrilado diametral el cual puede, por unos medios adecuados, ser llevado en coincidencia con el conducto de paso del fluido para asegurar la apertura de la válvula o ser orientado sensiblemente a 90º para asegurar el cierre de la válvula, caracterizado porque la válvula comprende un vástago axial fijo (5) situado en el fondo del cuerpo (1) del elemento de acoplamiento, dirigido hacia la salida del acoplamiento y mandrilado (5a) al diámetro del paso (1e) del acoplamiento, presentando este vástago en su extremo correspondiente al fondo del cuerpo una superficie para el resorte de retorno y, en su otroextremo, una brida radial (8) cuyas dos caras laterales (8a) son tangentes a la superficie exterior del vástago, estando realizada una cámara, que desemboca en el sector en zona esférica opuesto al sector activo, en el elemento de obturación esférico, presentando esta cámara unas superficies (7c) que cooperan en contacto deslizante con las caras laterales (8a) de la brida (8) del vástago, estando el eje (9) de arrastre en rotación del elemento de obturación (7) soportado por la brida (8) del vástago y perpendicular a dichas caras (8a-7c), todo ello para asegurar una mejor estanqueidad debido a que los medios de guiado y de mando en rotación están realizados en el interior del volumen del elemento de obturación esférico y a que el empuje del resorte de retorno es transmitido a dicho elemento de obturación esférico por un asiento en casquete esférico.
