Abstract

A conduit clip comprises a head formed by yokes (1) (2) and a ribbed shank (6) which is extended by an expansible dowel (8). The shank has a longitudinal bore and the dowel has a diametral slot extending to meet the bore. The shank is pressed into a pre- drilled hole in a wall or ceiling, the hole size being such that the shank ribs bend back and grip the hole in the wall. A screw or pin can be pressed through the bore to enter the slot and expand the dowel to improve the grip of the shank particularly in plaster or other relatively soft materials.
