CUSTOMIZABLE IMMOBILIZATION SYSTEM

The present invention refers to a customizable immobilization system for immobilization of people and limbs. The system has been conceived and realized to obtain numerous and notable advantages with respect to other existing means of analogy purposes.

The system is designed to immobilize a person or limb, reducing the possibilities of voluntary or involuntary movements. For this, the system has 4 well differentiated parts that fit together forming a single object that is able to adapt to the anatomy of each person and immobilize this anatomical region.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Various systems and devices for the immobilization of persons or limbs are known.

In this regard, systems based on bandages impregnated with plaster can be cited. After wetting, they are placed on the limb to be immobilized until they dry, creating a plaster frame reinforced by cloth.

This system has several drawbacks, such as the reuse of materials, which entails great difficulty given the contamination of the system, such as aliasing temperatures necessary to reactivate the plaster, or that normally to extract the limb, the sales are cut so that These are for single use. EXPLANATION OF THE INVENTION

The customizable immobilization system of the invention presents a new strategy when it comes to personalizing the immobilizer surface: instead of deforming an elastic, it is filled with a crystallizing fluid and once it has assumed the desired shape, it crystallizes. Based on the supercooling properties of the sodium acetate trihydrate there is provided an injection system communicated with an adaptable bag both filled with a saturated solution of sodium acetate which is arranged around the extremity to be immobilized, supported by the external housing so that the Inject more solution the bag adopts the shape of the extremity.

PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION

In view of the figures, it can be seen how the system is constituted by 4 pieces (1, 2, 3 and 4) that when coupled together give rise to the customizable immobilization system.

At present there are very different materials with which to make the various parts of the system, and multiple techniques that we could use in the confection of the adaptive bag. However, by simple economy, generalized materials and techniques are chosen. Thus, for the adaptable bag, nitrile injected into the mold has been chosen and for the injection system a syringe of those usually given for sanitary purposes is used, unit to the bag adaptable by means of silicone. The nucleator will use a thicker nitrile elastic sheet than the rest of the adaptable bag while the metal sheet and the metal tip will be made of aluminum. Customizable immobilization system characterized by comprising four coupling parts that are the injection system, the nucleator, both communicated with the adaptable bag, the three filled with a saturated solution of sodium acetate trihydrate and all supported by the housing external, creating the customizable immobilization system.
