Abstract

Un porta-brocas perfeccionado, que se caracteriza por estar formado por dos elementos distintos, encajables o enchufables entre sí y bloqueables uno con otro por un equipo de tres o más bolas interpuestas entre ambos; de estos elementos, uno se mantiene sujeto a la broca o útil, y el otro se solidariza con el eje útil de la máquina herramienta; de estos elementos, el primero presenta tres o más mortajas semiesféricas, tantas cuantas bolas dispuestas lateral y exteriormente y uniformemente repartidas sobre un mismo plano o sección transversal; el segundo elemento presenta, tres o más perforaciones troncocónicas, radiales, capaces de coincidir con las mortajas del primer elemento, las cuales sirven de alojamiento a sendas bolas o esferas de blocaje; este segundo elemento lleva un manguito exterior, concéntrico con él, loco y con capacidad de deslizamiento axial, el cual presenta una ranura anular, superiormente biselada, gracias a la cual se empuja a las bolas haciéndolas penetrar en sus perforaciones hasta tocar el fondo de las mortajas del primer elemento; y levantando este manguito tales bolas pueden retroceder y pasar a la ranura anular liberándose así al primer elemento.
