Abstract

Un procedimiento de preparación de los 18-nor 13beta-alcohil o aralcohil estradioles, de sus ésteres y éteres, caracterizado principalmente porque comprende la sucesión de las operaciones en las cuales se ciclisa en medio alcalino un 3,5-diceto 13beta-alcohil o aralcohil 17beta-aciloxi 4,5secodelta9-goneno, se isomeriza el 3-ceto 13beta-alcohil o aralcohil 17beta-aciloxidelta4,9-gonadieno resultante con ayuda de un catalizador apropiado en éster correspondiente del 18-nor 13beta-alcohil o aralcohil estradiol que se saponifica y transforma, llegado el caso, en otros derivados funcionales deseados tales como ésteres, éteres, etc.
