Abstract

A stackable locking clip (10) for locking the straps for packages comprises a central web (11) with two wings (12, 13) angled away from each other and from the web (11), at least one wing (12) having a hole (20) with at its edge furthest from the web (11) a lower projection (23) projecting beyond the level of the lower surface (24) of wing (12) and an upper projection (26) at the edge of hole (20) nearest web (11) projecting above the level of the upper surface (27) of wing (12), the second wing (13) having a similar hole (20) and upper and lower projections (23, 26) or at least a lower projection (23). In a stack of such clips the lower projection (23) of an upper clip (10) will engage the upper projection (26) of a lower clip (10), and so serves to lock the clips against displacement in the stacking direction, while facilitating easy relative displacement of the clips perpendicular to the stacking direction.
