Mejoras introducidas en el objeto de la patente principal número 250.997, por: "Un procedimiento de producir ácido bis(1-alcohil-1-carboxi-1-hidrooximetil) fosfínico", según las cuales uno de los ácidos allfa-cetoalcanoico o hipofosforoso, a los dos, se hacen reaccionar en forma de una sal de metal de amonio o de amonio sustituido, de modo que se obtiene una sal del ácido bis(1-alcohil-1-carboci-1-hidroximetil) fosfínico.
