The object of the present invention is an interactive sensorially sensory effect control device, which automatically performs the selective activation of different equipment, for example sound, image, lighting, electromechanical or similar, when objects are arranged on a semitransparent surface. bearers of predetermined identifiers.

in some cases, the combination of other effects perceptible by the user is used to improve his sensory experience; being able to treat, for example, said effects of lighting changes, changes in the type or volume of ambient music, or even the projection of images related to the theme of the dish in question.

Although these effects contribute to improve the sensory experience and customer satisfaction, adequate control of the equipment necessary for its production is an important problem both economically and requires the dedication of one or more operators, as from a synchronization point of view when it is desired to activate one or more equipment for example of sound and lighting simultaneously and in a coordinated manner with a certain event, for example service of a particular dish on a table.

The owner of the present invention is unaware of the existence of antecedents related to interactive devices that allow to facilitate the control and automatic activation of the equipment intended to provide sensory effects in a synchronized manner with a certain action such as the service of a dish or the placement of A certain object on a table.

Description of the invention

The interactive device for controlling sensory perceptible effects, object of this invention, presents constructive particularities oriented to solve the problem set forth above and to achieve the selective activation of equipment responsible for generating said effects, by simply placing a predetermined object on a surface.

This interactive control device has features set forth in the appended claims, basically comprising:

- a semi-transparent surface with an anterior face and a posterior face;

- a series of objects provided with a support base on the front face of said semi-transparent surface, each object comprising at its base at least one predetermined identifier;

- at least one camera connected to a computer system, and focused towards the rear face of the transparent surface, and that captures the image of the identifiers associated with the objects positioned on the semi-transparent surface;

- an information system provided with: an image recognition program that recognizes the identifiers captured by the camera; a database in which each identifier is related to at least one predetermined sensory perceptible effect through sight, smell, hearing or touch; and control interfaces; Y

- Sensory-sensing effect generating equipment, whose equipment is connected to the control interfaces and selectively actuated by the computer system based on the identifiers captured by the camera.

With the aforementioned characteristics, this system allows to selectively activate any of the effect generating equipment, by simply placing an object on the semitransparent surface that has at its base the predetermined identifier and corresponding to the equipment to be activated in each case.

The use of a semi-transparent surface, for example a glass surface with a fine engraving by sand projection, or an acid recording, provides different advantages of use among which it is worth mentioning: that the camera can only capture the image of the identifiers associated to the objects when said objects are supported and in contact with the semi-transparent surface; that said semi-transparent surface prevents visualization through it of the camera in charge of capturing the images through the rear face of the semi-transparent surface; and which allows the projection of images on said semi-transparent surface and preferably on the back side thereof, so that said images are visible through its anterior face.

Preferred embodiment of the invention.

In the exemplary embodiment shown in the attached figures, and specifically applicable to a restoration establishment, the device comprises a semi-transparent surface (1) provided with a front face (11) and a rear face (12) forming said semi-transparent surface the board or table surface.

The device comprises a series of objects (2a, 2b, 2c) represented in this case by service objects, specifically a glass, a plate and a cup, which as can be seen in Figure 2 have a support base in the that each of them incorporates a predetermined identifier (21, 22, 23) respectively.

Below the table there is a camera (3) focused towards the rear face (12) of the semi-transparent surface, said camera (3) being responsible for capturing the image of the identifiers (21, 22, 23) of those objects (2a, 2b, 2c) that are positioned on the semi-transparent surface (1).

This camera (3) is connected to a computer system (4) equipped with an image recognition program, a database (41) in which each identifier (21, 22, 23) is related to at least one predetermined sensory perceptible effect; and control interfaces (42)

of some equipment (5a, 5b, 5c) effect generators and represented schematically in this case by a lighting element (5a), a sound equipment (5b) and an image projector (5c).

Obviously, these equipment that generates sensory perceptible effects could be of any other type, for example an electromechanical vibrator, an aroma dispenser or any other capable of producing a sensory perceptible effect by the user through sight, smell, hearing or the touch.

With the characteristics mentioned above when one of the objects is positioned, for example, the object (2a) on the semi-transparent surface (1), the camera (3) captures the image of the identifier (21) associated with said object (2a) and the system informatic (4) recognizes the identifier (21) through an image recognition program and determines, through the information in the database (41), the effect generating equipment, for example the lighting equipment (5a), to be controlled through the interface (42) causing its activation.

The activated equipment (5a) can remain operative until a certain time elapses from the positioning of the object (2a) on the semi-transparent surface (1), or until said object (2a) is removed from the semi-transparent surface (1).

Obviously in the attached figures a very limited number of objects and identifiers have been represented, although they could be practically unlimited depending on the number of effects to be achieved, for example volume variations, variations in lighting intensity, selection of the images to be projected by the projector (5c), or any other parameters.

It should be mentioned that the equipment (5a, 5b, 5c) effect generators can be arranged under the semi-transparent surface (1) of the table, so that the sensory recreation is closer to the diner, or be distributed throughout the room or even on the outside in case you want to create a perceptible atmosphere the diners of different tables.

Once the nature of the invention has been sufficiently described, as well as an example of preferred realization, it is stated to the appropriate effects that the materials, shape, size and disposition of the described elements may be modified, provided that this does not imply alteration of the essential characteristics of the invention that are claimed below.
