Abstract
Un método para fabricar un catalizador en el cual se deposita un haluro de metal de Friedel-Crafts, por vaporización sobre un compuesto de un óxido inorgánico refractario y un metal del grupo del platino, y el producto resultante se calienta por encima de 400ºC durante un tiempo suficiente para retirar todo el haluro metálico no reaccionado, caracterizado porque se trata un compuesto que contiene el metal del grupo del platino en un estado de valencia reducida con un hidrohaluro antes de que se deposite el haluro de metal de Friedel-Crafts sobre el compuesto.
