Abstract

Eskimo simulator. # Gymnastics apparatus to practice almost all the exercises that are performed in a kayak including the eskimo. # It consists of a folding stand that supports at its ends, by means of rotating supports, a fusiform structure that is equivalent to the kayak. # The fusiform structure has: a seat that hangs from the upper bars, and an adjustable stirrup. Some straps fix the paddle to the seat and others hold their knees. DESCRIPTION

Eskimo simulator.

Technical sector: Gymnastics apparatus. Manufacture of sports equipment in industrial mechanical workshops.

State of the art: There are gymnastic devices that simulate kayak paleo, but there are none in which you can perform skiing. With this device you can practice almost all the modalities of maneuvers that are performed in the water with the characteristic that you can observe the movements during their execution, which constitutes a tool for teaching and improvement, as well as constituting a form of Kayaking without doing it in the water, be it sea, river, swamp or pool.

Explanation: It is composed of a folding stand, as can be seen in the elevations and floors of Figures 1, 2, 3 and 4, which supports a fusiform structure that is equivalent to a kayak. The PVC, stainless steel or metallic tube stand is formed by two pairs of legs (1) articulated at one end for folding. The pairs of legs are braced together by longitudinal bars (13) and other diagonal ones (2), besides having two cross bars (14) of square section located at the ends of the stand to limit the opening of the legs and hinges in half, to allow folding. In addition the stand supports a horizontal ring (12), removable to allow folding, which resembles the surface of the water, which is used for supports in different exercises. The bars are joined by means of bushing means (15) welded in half, and with the appropriate inclination, to the ends of the bars. Caps that are received at the other bar by pins.

The ring is divided into four parts, for transport, joined by the bayonet system with a screw on the bottom, and is attached to the easel by

Fusiform structure that is equivalent to kayaking, placing the paddler in the center, duly fastened by straps.
