Abstract

A dishwasher comprising: a washing tank (4) defining a space in which the dishes are washed; at least one lower basket (300) arranged inside the washing tank (4); a first upper basket (311) arranged on the lower basket (300) inside the washing tank (4); a second upper basket (312) adjacent to the first upper basket (311); and displacement parts (321, 323) to move the first upper basket (311) horizontally within the washing tank (4) to adjust the location of the first upper basket (311), in which the parts ( 321, 323) of displacement are configured to move the first upper basket (311) towards the second upper basket (312), so that the first upper basket (311) overlaps the second upper basket (312) to increase a height maximum of a tableware article contained in the first lower basket (300) by a height of a tableware article contained in the first upper basket (311), in which the displacement parts (321, 323) are also configured to adjust a height of the first upper basket (311) in the vertical direction; and wherein the displacement parts (321, 323) are also configured to move the first upper basket (311) so that the first upper basket (311) and the second upper basket (312) are arranged side by side.

The support part 241 of the connection element may be mounted on the frame 220. The support part 241 of the containment element may be in the form of a panel arranged on the side wall of the frame 220. The support part 241 of the connection element may be removably mounted on the frame 220. The support part 241 of the connecting element may be arranged on the upper part of the support 260 of the adjustment parts. The support part 241 of the containment element may be arranged on the travel path of the levers 237 and 277.

One side of the stop part 243 may be connected to the support part 241 of the containment element. The other side of the stop part 243 may extend in the direction of rotation of the levers 237 and 277 by moving the basket 200 upwards. The other side of the stop part 243 can extend towards the front side of the basket 200. The another side of the stop part 243 may extend towards the door 2.

The curved part 245 may be formed on the end of the other side of the stop part 243. The curved portion 245 may have a curved downward and convex shape to enable the lever to be stopped and fixed in this manner. The curved portion 245 may have a curved shape in one direction of the geometric axis of rotation of the levers 237 and 277.

In one embodiment, levers 237 and 277 may be formed to flex to be inserted into the curved part 245 through the side surface of the curved part 245. The levers 237 and 277 may be formed to flex in a direction of the curved part 245 and a surface on which the levers 237 and 277 contact the curved part 245.

The levers 237 and 277 can be flexed in a direction of the other lateral surface disposed on the lateral surface of the curved part 245. The levers 237 and 277 curved towards the other side surface may be curved in the opposite direction to the geometric axis of rotation.

In another embodiment, levers 237 and 277 may include mounting projections (not shown) that protrude from their lateral surface and are inserted into the curved portion 245. The mounting projections can protrude from the side surfaces of the levers 237 and 277. The mounting projection can be inserted into the curved part 245.

In one embodiment, the upper end of the curved portion 245 that is open may have an outstanding step 244 to interrupt the repositioning of the levers 237 and 277 in place. The levers 237 and 277 may be flexed to be inserted into the curved part 245, and curved part 245 may include the protruding step 244 whereby levers 237 and 277 are stopped. The protruding step 244 may project in the direction of rotation of the levers 237 and 277 that lift the basket 100.

In another embodiment, the curved portion 245 may be formed to have a hook shape, making it possible for the levers 237 and 277 to be hooked. The levers 237 and 277 can be mounted on the curved part 245 in the form of a hook. Levers 237 and 277 can be inserted and mounted on an open surface of the curved part 245.

In one embodiment, the dishwasher 1 may also include a release part 247 extending from the curved part 245 so that the levers 237 and 277 are released from the curved part 245 by moving down the curved part 245 .

In one embodiment, the containment element 240 may also include a release part 247 extending from the curved part 245 so that the levers 237 and 277 are released from the curved part 245 by moving the part downward 245 curved. The release part 247 may be connected to the curved part 245. The release part 247 may extend from the curved part 245 and may extend in the opposite direction of the mounting part 153. The release part 247 may be arranged in parallel with the basket 100. The release part 247 may extend towards the direction of rotation of the levers 237 and 277. The part 247 may be made of an elastic material.

The stop part 243 may be flexed upwards. The stop part 243 may be made of an elastic material. The stop part 243 can guide the movement of the levers 237 and 277. The stop part 243 can be formed to flex in the same curvature as the travel path of the levers 237 and 277.

In one embodiment, the containment element 240 may also include a limiting part 249 that is arranged in the direction of rotation of the levers 237 and 277 moving the basket 200 down and connected to the support part 241 of the containment to limit the rotation of levers 237 and 277. In one embodiment, the dishwasher 1 may also include a limiting part 249 that is formed in the support part 241 of the containment element and is arranged in the direction of rotation of levers 237 and 277 to limit the rotation of levers 237 and 277 when the basket 200 moves down.

The limiting part 249 may be arranged on the side opposite the curved part 245. The limitation part 249 may be arranged in a location where the levers 237 and 277 can interrupt the

downward movement of the basket 200. The limitation part 249 may be formed to enable the levers 237 and 277 to be stopped and fixed. For example, the limiting part 249 may be a projection located on the travel path of levers 237 and 277.

The support part 241 of the containment element, the stop part 243, the curved part 245, the release part 247 and the limitation part 249 may be integrally formed. Containment element 240 may be integrally formed. The containment element 240 may be made of a synthetic resin by injection molding.

FIG. 12 is an exploded perspective view illustrating the displacement parts 321 and 323 and their peripheral forms in accordance with another embodiment of the present invention.

With reference to FIG. 12, the containment element 240 and the frame 220 may be integrally formed, and the frame 220 may incorporate a rotation hole 261b into which the rotation projections 235 and 275 are inserted.

In one embodiment, the dishwasher 1 may also include a guide panel 250. The guide panel 250 may be mounted on the front and rear sides of the frame 220. A part of the assembly may be arranged on a surface of the guide panel 250 so that the guide panel 250 can be mounted on the frame

220. The mounting part can fix the guide panel 250 to the frame 220. A hook 259 may be formed on the guide panel 250.

In one embodiment, the basket 200 may be supported by an integral frame 280, and in the integral frame 280, the adjustment part 130 may be rotatably arranged to adjust the height of the basket 100. The integral frame 280 may jointly include the containment element 240, the frame 220, the support 260 of the adjustment parts, and the guide panel 250. The integral frame 280 may be integrally manufactured in resin by injection molding.

FIG. 13 is a view illustrating a method of adjusting the space of a dishwasher 1 in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention.

With reference to FIG. 13, the dishwasher 1 may include a washing tank 4 defining a space in which the dishes are washed, a lower basket 300 arranged inside the washing tank 4, a first upper basket 311 arranged on the lower basket 300 inside the washing tank 4 to define a first lower receiving space S1 together with the lower basket 300, a second upper basket 312 arranged on the lower basket 300 side by side with the first upper basket 311 to define a second space S2 of lower reception, and displacement portions 321 and 323 that move the first upper basket 311 towards the second upper basket 312 to increase the first lower reception space S1.

The washing water can be sprayed into the washing tank 4. The crockery items may be contained in the washing tank 4. The washing tank 4 can be opened / closed by the door 2. The washing tank 4 can be closed tightly by the door 2. The baskets 300, 311 and 312 that receive the crockery items can be arranged inside the tank 4 washed.

Baskets 300, 311 and 312 may contain the dishes. Baskets 300, 311 and 312 may be arranged simultaneously. Baskets 300, 311 and 312 may be arranged to be moved forward and backward. Baskets 300, 311 and 312 can be made of wire or synthetic resin and can be lattice-shaped.

Frame 320 may contain the basket. The frame 320 can be made of various materials such as synthetic resin and wire. The frame 320 may be disposed within the washing tank 4. The frame 320 may be arranged so that it can be moved forward and backward into the wash tank 4.

The baskets 300, 311 and 312 can be arranged separately in the upper and lower portions of the washing tank 4. The lower basket 300 may be arranged in the lower portion of the wash tank 4. The upper baskets 311 and 312 may be arranged above the lower basket 300. The reception capacity of the tableware items of the lower basket 300 may be different from that of the upper baskets 311 and 312. The reception capacity of the tableware items may vary with the areas of the bottoms of the baskets 300, 311 and 312. The reception capacity of the tableware items may vary with a distance from the bottoms of the baskets 300, 311 and 312 to the obstacles located in the baskets 300, 311 and 312. Here, the obstacles may include other baskets 300, 311 and 312. Here, the obstacles may be a distance from the top of the wash tank 4. The reception capacity of the tableware elements may increase or decrease according to the reception space of the tableware items.

The reception space of the tableware items can mean a free space from the bottoms of the baskets 300, 311 and 312 to the obstacles located in the baskets 300, 311 and 312. The reception space of the

Tableware items may vary with the locations and sizes of baskets 300, 311 and 312 that are arranged.

The first upper basket 311 may be arranged on the washing tank 4. The first upper basket 311 may be up on an upper side of the washing tank 4. The first upper basket 311 may limit the upper space of the tableware items of the lower basket 300. The first upper basket 311 may limit the reception capacity of the tableware items of the lower basket 300. The first lower receiving space S1 may be formed between the first upper basket 311 and the lower basket 300. The first lower receiving space S1 can determine the size, shape and height of a tableware article that may be contained within the lower basket 300. The first lower reception space S1 may vary with the location of the first upper basket 301.

The second upper basket 312 may be arranged inside the washing tank 4. The second upper basket 312 may be arranged side by side with the first upper basket 311. The second upper basket 312 may limit the reception space of the tableware items of the lower basket 310. The second upper basket 312 may limit the reception capacity of the tableware items of the lower basket 300. The second lower receiving space S2 may be formed between the second upper basket 312 and the lower basket 300. The second lower receiving space S2 can determine the size, shape and height of a tableware article that may be contained within the lower basket 300. The second lower reception space S2 may vary with the location of the second upper basket 312.

The lower basket 300 may be divided into a first lower basket 300 and a second lower basket 300 that are arranged side by side on the left and right sides. However, to facilitate exposure, the lower basket 300 will be exemplified as being integrally constituted.

The entire bottom of the lower basket 300 may be divided into a first lower bottom (not shown) located below the first upper basket 311 and a second lower bottom (not shown) located below the second upper basket 312. The first bottom bottom and the second bottom bottom can form the entire bottom of the bottom basket 300. The first bottom bottom can become the bottom of the first bottom receiving space S1. The second bottom bottom can become the bottom of the second bottom receiving space S2.

When the first upper basket 311 and the second upper basket 312 are arranged side by side, a space S3 may be formed above the first lower receiving space S1. The space S3 can be a space between the bottom of the first upper basket 311 and the roof of the washing tank 4. A space S4 can be a space between the bottom of the second upper basket 312 and the roof of the washing tank 4.

The heights of the first lower reception space S1 and the second lower reception space S2 may be determined by a distance from an obstacle located in the upper part of the lower basket 300. To facilitate exposure, although the first upper basket 311 and the second upper basket 312 are displaced, the first lower bottom and the second lower bottom will be defined as not displaced and deformed.

The first and second lower receiving spaces S1 and S2 may be determined by a relationship with an obstacle located on the upper part of the first and second lower bottoms that are defined as above. The first and second lower reception capabilities may be determined by a relationship with an obstacle located at the top of the first and second bottom funds that are defined as above.

For example, when the first upper basket 311 is removed from the washing tank 4, the first lower receiving space S1 can compose a space from the first lower bottom defined as before to the roof of the washing tank 4. In another example, when the first upper basket 311 is placed on the second upper basket 312, the first lower reception space S1 can compose a space from the first lower bottom defined as before to the roof of the washing tank 4.

In the examples given, the first lower reception space S1 can be seen to be the same.

In one embodiment, the first lower receiving space S1 may be formed between the first upper basket 311 and the lower basket 300. The first lower receiving space S1 may be a space between the first bottom bottom and the first top basket 311 located above the first bottom bottom.

The second upper basket 312 may be arranged side by side with the first upper basket 311. The second lower receiving space S2 may be formed between the second upper basket 312 and the lower basket 300. The second lower receiving space S2 may be a space between the second lower bottom and the second upper basket 312.

The displacement portions 321 and 323 may be configured to move the first upper basket 311 to the second upper basket 312. The displacement portions 321 and 323 may increase or decrease the first lower receiving space S1. The moving parts 321 and 323 can increase the height from the first bottom bottom on which the tableware items can be placed.

A hook 359 may be formed on the guide panel 350. The hook 359 can be integrated by several hooks on the guide panel 350. The hook 359 can be integrated by several hooks on the upper side of the guide panel 350. The hook 359 can be mounted on the first rail 341 and the fourth rail 344. The hook 359 can be mounted on the first rail 341 and the fourth rail 344 so that the frame 320 can rotate in the left and right directions.

With reference to FIG. 13, a height H1 can be a height from the bottom of the lower basket 300 to the bottom of the first upper basket 311 and the second upper basket 312. A height H2 may be a height of the first upper basket 311 and the second upper basket 312. A height H3 can be a height from the upper side surfaces of the first upper basket 311 and the second upper basket 312 to the roof of the washing tank 4.

When the first upper basket 311 and the second upper basket 312 are arranged side by side, the maximum height of the lower receiving spaces S1 and S2 may be the height H1. However, when the first upper basket 311 is moved towards the second upper basket 312, the maximum height of the lower receiving spaces S1 and S2 can become a height that is the sum of the heights H1, H2 and H3.

In one embodiment, the dishwasher 1 may include a washing tank 4 defining a space in which the dishes are washed, a first upper basket 311 and a second upper basket 312 arranged side by side on an upper side of the washing tank 4, a lower basket 300 arranged below the first upper basket 311 and the second upper basket 312 to receive the tableware and displacement parts 321 and 323 that move the first upper basket 311 towards the second upper basket 312 so that the first upper basket 311 overlaps the second upper basket 312 to increase the maximum height of a tableware article contained in the lower basket 300 by the height of a tableware article contained in the first upper basket 311.

When the first upper basket 311 and the second upper basket 312 are arranged side by side, the maximum height of a tableware article contained in the lower basket 300 may become the height H1. The maximum height of a tableware article contained in the first upper basket 311 may be the sum of the heights H2 and H3. The displacement part may allow the maximum height of a tableware article contained in the lower basket 300 to become the height H4. The displacement parts 321 and 323 can make it possible for the maximum height of a tableware article contained in the lower basket 300 to become the height H4. The displacement portions 321 and 323 can increase the maximum height of a tableware article contained in the lower basket 300 by the sum of the heights H2 and H3.

In one embodiment, the dishwasher 1 may include a washing tank 4 defining a space in which the tableware items are washed, baskets 311 and 312 for receiving the tableware items, a rack 320 disposed within the wash tank 4 to receive the baskets 311 and 312, adjustment parts 331 and 332 arranged on the frame 320 to adjust the height of the baskets 311 and 312 and a rail 400 that allows the frame 320 to move horizontally inside of the washing tank 4 to thereby adjust the locations of the baskets 311 and 312.

Baskets 311 and 312 may include a first upper basket 311 and a second upper basket 312.

FIG. 16 is a view illustrating an exemplary use of a dishwasher 1 in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 17 is a view illustrating another exemplary use of a dishwasher 1 in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 18 is a view illustrating another exemplary use of more than one dishwasher 1 in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 19 is a view illustrating another additional exemplary use of a dishwasher 1 in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention.

With reference to FIGS. 16 to 19, the dishwasher 1 may include a first upper basket 311 and a second upper basket that are arranged side by side. The height of the first upper basket 311 may be equal to the height of the second upper basket 312

The maximum height of a tableware article contained in the first upper basket 311 and in the second upper basket 312 may be the sum of the heights H2 and H3. The reception capacities of the tableware items of the first upper basket 311 and the second upper basket 312 may be equal to each other. The spaces of

reception of the tableware items of the first upper basket 311 and the second upper basket 312 may be equal to each other. The spaces S3 and S4 can be equal to each other.

In one embodiment, the dishwasher may include a first upper basket 311 that tilts to one side. The height of the first upper basket 311 may be obliquely formed. The height of a tableware article contained in the first upper basket 311 may be oblique. The first upper basket 311 may contain a tableware article, one of whose sides is taller than the other side.

In one embodiment, the dishwasher 1 may include a first upper basket 311 and a second upper basket that is disposed at a higher location than the first upper basket 311. The first upper basket 311 may be arranged in a diagonal location with the second upper basket 312

The maximum height of a tableware article contained in the first upper basket 311 may be greater than the maximum height of a tableware article contained in the second upper basket 312. For example, the first upper basket 311 may contain rice bowls or soup bowls. The second upper basket 312 may contain spoons and chopsticks.

In one embodiment, the dishwasher 1 may include a first upper basket 311 and a second upper basket that is disposed above the first upper basket 311. The maximum height of the tableware article contained in the lower basket 300 may be greater on one side of the lower basket. In this case, the maximum height of a disposable tableware article on one side of the lower basket 300 may become the height H4. The maximum height of a disposable tableware article on the other side of the lower basket 300 can be converted to height H1 minus height H2.

A dishwasher according to an embodiment of the present invention has at least one of the following effects.

First, the height of a basket can be adjusted according to a user's need.

Secondly, the capacity of the tableware items contained in the basket can be increased.

Thirdly, it is possible to prevent a user from removing the baskets to increase a space between baskets.

The effects of the present invention are not limited to those set forth; Other effects not described herein will be apparent to persons skilled in the art from the subsequent claims.

Here, the operation of the dishwasher 1 configured as set forth will be described below.

A user can open the door 2 and then he can remove the lower basket 300 arranged in a lower portion of the washing tank 4. The lower basket 300 may contain dishes that have relatively large sizes or diameters. When the tableware items contained in the lower basket 300 have too high heights or considerable diameters, the lower portions of the tableware items may strike the first upper basket 311.

A user can pull the rail arranged in a portion of the wash tank 4 to remove the first upper basket 311 and the second upper basket 312. A user can reduce the height of the first upper basket 311 using the adjustment parts 331 and 332. The adjustment parts 331 can be operated by a method of displacement of the latch 331a that limits the displacement of the stop projection 315 or by a method of pulling the lever 332a using the principle of the lever.

The first upper basket 311 can be moved to a lower location at the bottom of the second upper basket 312. A user can move the frame 320 to the second upper basket 312. The frame 320 can be connected to the guide panel 350, and the guide panel 350 can be connected to the first rail 341 and the fourth rail 344. The first upper basket 311 can be moved to completely overlap the second upper basket 312.

Through the above process, the first upper basket 311 located on one side of the lower basket 300 may no longer exist on the first lower bottom. Only the roof of the wash tank 4 can exist above the first bottom bottom.

Accordingly, the reception space on one side of the lower basket 300 may be wider. Also, the amount of tableware items available on one side of the lower basket 300 may increase. Also, the maximum height of the tableware items available on one side of the lower basket 300 may increase. The increased capacity can substantially be converted to the amount of tableware items contained in the first upper basket 311.

The increase in space can substantially become a space that occupies the first upper basket 311. The maximum increased height of the tableware items can be substantially converted to a height (the sum of the height H2 and the height H3) from the bottom of the first upper basket 311 to the roof of the bowl 4 of

washed. Likewise, the maximum height of the tableware items contained in the lower basket 300 can be converted to the height H4.

Likewise, the lower reception space S1 can be increased by means of the aforementioned processes. This is because the existing occupied space S3 moves towards the lateral surface due to the displacement of the first upper basket 311.

Through the above processes, a user can adjust the procedures of the first upper basket 311 and the second upper basket 312. Likewise, by means of the locations of the first upper basket 311 and the second upper basket 312, the reception space of the tableware articles of the lower basket 300 can be adjusted.

Although the present invention has been specifically shown and described with reference to its preferred embodiments, it should be understood by those skilled in the art that various changes in form and detail can be made without departing from the scope of the invention as defined by the attached claims. Preferred embodiments should only be considered descriptively and not for limiting purposes. Therefore, the scope of the invention is defined not by the detailed description of the invention but by the
