Abstract

The awning blank is provided in a corner area with a pocket-or bag-type sleeve 2 or cuff. Disposed in that sleeve 2 are the securing and supporting elements in the form of rods 3 adapted to be connected together, at least two cable strings 4 and tent pegs 5. Provided at the diagonally opposite corner area is a handle 6 with the tying elements 7. The opening 11 of the pocket is directed towards the main body of the blank so that the accessories 3, 4, 5 cannot fall out of or protrude from the awning in its rolled up condition.
