Abstract
An electrical connector for terminating a flat multi-conductor electrical cable (100), comprises a body member (1) carrying on each of two opposite surfaces a row of terminals (2) and a bus member (5). and two cover members (7, 8) covering the two surfaces respectively. The surfaces of the body member (1) are formed with grooves (9) which receive conductors (101) of the cable (100) and guide them from mouths (11) of the grooves (9) at an edge of the body member (1), to the terminals (2) and bus member (5). The mouths (11) are formed to guide the conductors (101) over the two surfaces of the body member (1) as required.
