Abstract
Method of manufacturing isolated sheet metal material, characterized by the electrolysis operations of an aqueous solution of a water-soluble salt of a metal that forms a water-insoluble hydroxide, the sheet material being arranged as a cathode in said solution for the formation and deposition of the metal hydroxide on said sheet metal material, the extraction of the sheet metal material thus coated with said solution and the heating of said hydroxide coating to convert it into a refractory insulating coating.
