Abstract

Procedimiento para eliminación de metales y disminución de la carga microbiana en purines e instalación para la puesta en práctica del mismo. Procedimiento para la eliminación de la carga contaminante en purines, tanto la referida a la concentración en metales como a la presencia de organismos patógenos. El procedimiento consiste en someter los purines a un tratamiento químico basado en una alcalinización hasta un valor de pH tal que asegure la precipitación de los metales. Asociado a este tratamiento se obtiene una reducción significativa de la carga contaminante de tipo microbiano. El procedimiento se llevará a cabo en una instalación que consta de un mezclador al cual se vierten tanto el purín a tratar como el reactivo químico. La carga de purines se realizará por la parte superior y se mezclará con el agente neutralizante hasta el valor de pH establecido, resultando que los metales precipitan. La separación de fases, líquido tratado y sólido conteniendo los metales se realizará por decantación.
